Hand History Exchange - The HHE Collection

The HHE Collection

The Hand History Exchange hand history collection is a free-to-access repository of online poker hand history data. When it opens, it will contain at least a quarter of a million recent hand histories from several of the most popular poker sites; far surpassing any other free service of its kind and rivalling well-known subscription-charging services.

The perpetuation of the Hand History Exchange Collection, however, depends upon your support of it. We believe that you should have to give a little in order to receive a lot. Not in terms of cold cash as with some opponent profiling services, but by providing the Collection with data which can then be downloaded by others.

Structure of the Collection

The Collection is hosted by the Hand History Exchange Forums. The HHE Collection section of the Forums consists of three levels, which hold hand history data as follows:

  • Level 1 of the collection contains:
    • All Small stakes hand histories (≤$100NL, ≤$0.50/$1 limit)
    • Older Medium stakes hand histories

  • Level 2 of the collection contains:
    • Medium stakes hand histories (≤$600NL, ≤$4/8 limit)
    • Older 1000NL and 2000NL and $5/10 limit hand histories

  • Level 3 of the collection contains:
    • High stakes hand histories

Accessing the Collection

In order to access all or part of the HHE Collection, the following steps must be completed by the user:

  • Sign up for the Hand History Exchange forums (you will need to do this as it is your forum account that is granted the privileges to access the HHE Collection forums).

  • Upload the required amount of valid hand histories, no older than 3 months (observed hands) or 6 months (played hands) to the HHE Collection using the upload form provided. These are as follows (subject to change without notice):
    • Level 1: 5000 hand histories
    • Level 2: 20,000 hand histories
    • Level 3: 50,000 hand histories

  • Accept the HHE Collection Terms & Conditions (below).

  • Upon completing the above steps, within 24 hours your forum account should be granted the privileges required to access the HHE Collection forums, and you may download hand histories from the collection. These privileges will be retained for one month (30 days), subject to your provision to the HHE Collection of more hand histories.

HHE Disclaimer

Use of the Hand History Collection is at your own risk. Sharing of hand history data may contravene the terms and conditions of some online poker sites. By uploading hand histories to the HHE Collection you accept the risk of account closure and possible confiscation of funds by poker site administration. This risk can be minimised by uploading observed hand histories rather than played hands.

Played Hands Disclaimer

Played hand histories are defined as those in which your dealt cards are shown. It will be possible to identify your poker account from your played hand histories. Since as stated above, sharing of hand history data may contravene the terms and conditions of some poker sites, it is possible that if your account is identified action may be taken against it, including possible confiscation of funds. By uploading played hands to the collection, you accept this risk, and acknowledge and agree that Hand History Exchange is not responsible for any adverse consequences of doing so.

HHE Collection Terms & Conditions

Access to the levels of the HHE Collection is provided for one month following the most recent upload of hand history data. Following one month (30 days) of inactivity, access privileges may be withdrawn at the discretion of the administrators of Hand History Exchange.

The rules of access to the HHE Collection detailed above are subject to change at any time. In addition, access to the HHE collection may be withdrawn at any time following the granting of access privileges, for reasons including but not limited to breach of the HHE Forums Terms of Service or this Agreement.

Hand History Exchange is not able to guarantee that hand histories uploaded to the HHE Collection are genuine, though we will take reasonable steps to verify that uploaded data is provided in good faith. Submission to the HHE Collection via the upload procedure of hand history data subsequently found to be altered or faked is grounds for immediate banning from use of the services provided by Hand History Exchange and from the HHE Forums.

Use of the Hand History Exchange Collection by uploading or downloading hand history data implies that you agree to fully accept these terms & conditions, the HHE website terms & conditions, disclaimer and the forum terms & conditions.
